Monday, November 25th from 7:00 am – 10:00 am: The Mondays @ 7 Group will host Vlad Spitzer, an Employment Law Attorney, who will give a presentation titled: Discrimination in the Workplace.  Most of the HR professionals out there have no idea how age discrimination really works. The subject is complicated enough that many lawyers do not really understand it either. Vlad will demystify age discrimination, so that members will see that it is really not a grin and bear issue, but one where the courts are trying to deal with workplace concepts that are really very complex. Wednesday, November 27th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm: The New York Science, Industry and Business Library will offer a program titled:WorkSearch Orientation.  Are you a 40+ job seeker? WorkSearch is an online system which provides links to job openings, skills assessment tools, and training programs at no cost to individuals.  After taking the orientation, WorkSearch is accessible to registrants through the Internet, or through Library computers.  Attendees will be shown how to download the information to a USB flash drive (Bring your own USB drive).  The meeting is at the New York Science, Industry and Business Library, 188 Madison Avenue @ 34th Street, New York, NY 10016.
