Paul Hatrak Explains How to Better Communicate for Success on June 23

By Rita Williams

Have you ever lost an important job opportunity or networking connection and wondered why? It could be because you are interviewing and networking the same way with everyone and not tailoring your activities to each person’s behavioral style. You could be missing as much as 75 percent of your opportunities by doing this. If you’d like to know how to interview and network better and also gain immediate insight into your most challenging people, come hear Paul Hatrak talk on “Communicating For Success: Watch Your Language” at PSGCNJ’s general meeting on June 23, 2014.

Paul will lead an interactive discussion that will help you understand the universal language of DISC (dominance-experience-steadiness/security-compliance). DISC is concerned with how we act and our way of doing things. You will gain an understanding of your own behavioral style, recognize the behavioral style of others, and be able to adapt and blend your style for greater, more effective communication and relationships (personal and professional).

Paul Hatrack is currently a FocalPoint Certified Business Coach and President of Hatrak Associates, LLC. His mission is to work with clients with entrepreneurial spirit to drive further success or to rekindle the fire that may have been lost in their business. He’s combined 20 plus years of business and leadership experience with the powerful results-based content and expertise of one of the world’s best known business coaches, Brian Tracy.

Paul is a CPA, CGMA, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), Financial Executives International (FEI), Financial Executives Networking Group (FENG) and served on the board of the Morris/Essex New Jersey chapter of the institute of Management Accountants (IMA).

Bring a friend and come to hear him speak at PSGCNJ’s general meeting on Monday, June 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church, located at 48 West High Street, Somerville.

Please refrain from parking in the church parking lot. Metered and unmetered parking is available on West High Street. Unmetered parking is also available on some of the side streets near the church. Please put enough coins in the meter; a parking ticket in Somerville Borough costs $24! Please do not park in the handicapped spaces in the church parking lot or driveway unless you have a wheelchair symbol placard or license plate.

PSGCNJ general meetings are always free and open to the public. If you can’t make it to this meeting, then visit our website http://www.psgcnj.org for information about upcoming events.
